Mobile Lab Resource
The mobile lab units have been distributed to a number of schools in the school system. Many questions have risen about function and about use. Use this blog to make comments or post questions about the various issues concerning mobile labs.
What are people doing to monitor the mobile lab being protected by the surge protector? I am finding more labs than I want being plugged in incorrectly. I know this is not an instructiona issue but if all the laptops are fried then it seems like we are done instructionally anyway.
I understand many people are telling users to plug in the surge protector first. Then they plug everything else in after that. The powerstrip will not handle everything but they plug the extra item directly to the powerstrip. There are other ways to do this but everyone says this method is the easiest.
